10 pointer down

Post by catcher »

I got this guy the other day but misplaced the cord for the camera to put on computer. So a little late but a least you can see him. He is a main frame ten point and he was number two on the hit list for this year. My number one has disappeared and not sure if he is still around or not. This buck I have tons of pictures of and he was a heavy weight and he came in at 208 pounds. I shot him from a tree stand at 22 yards and he spun when I shot and the arrow hit him in the neck and entered into the chest on an angle and went through the top of the heart and lodged in opposite shoulder. The pic is not a great one and plan to take more of him once he is down after hanging. Man I heard him comming through the leaves a 100 yards out what a way to get your old heart pounding.

Gerry, congrats on a great buck. You sure your son didn't arrow that buck? He looks as excited as you do.

I'm in the middle of a family photo project for Christmas. Save all the photos . . .15 years from now, the best ones are not the ones where everyone is posed and look good. The look on your son's face is priceless.

Thanks for the data too. 8)

Great buck. I think I prefer to have them just "appear" from no where because you don't have time to get all worked up :D . Well, maybe a little.
