Old 6 point Down

Post by weezy »

I seen 23 deer tonight.4 Bucks and the rest doe's.The doe's came out in the field to my left eating in a big group then had a small eight point come in on my right just wandering through the woods slow.As I was trying to look at the buck out of the corner of my eye and keep a eye on the doe's since they were so close(maby 15 yards),I heard the doe's kinda trot and run off and I looked over and seen this guy trying to sniff them but they didnt like it.I ranged him at 40 yards so I got ready for the shot but then he trotted into 30 yards,then,20,and 10 yards.I put the 10 yard post on him and let it fly.He kicked and ran 20 yards and fell on the ground. He got back up and ran another 15 yards and fell over for good.He is old, although he may not look it,he is.His teeth are gone and he has a big body, pot belly, and huge neck. He's a main frame 6 point with a sticker on his right side and has a couple small points at the base of his antlers.

Great looking deer! There's a 10 yard post? I bet the deer fills up the scope at 10 yards!
