I like it alot looks good, now I wonder if thay made one for my Exomag as it does not have strait lines. You can see the gap problem I had with this STS system.

Now is this model adjustable? I may have to change my STS system now. They should come on every new model since I haven't found 1 Excal that dosen't hit the riser on the return.

Thanks for sharing that with us.
Looks nice and very solid.
May require some modding for top mount quiver brackets like GP's and Munch style though.
Any word on availability date yet?

Apparently they will be available next year. For those of you with a Facebook account here's a link to the announcement.

We are planning to have the new string stopper system ready to sell sometime in the new year. We'll make sure to let everybody know when they are available.

Looking at your sig line Excal dude, I see you have a Groundpounder mount. So, I have to ask, this new STS style system can be used with the Groundpounder mount yes? Have you tried it on an Excal to make sure all of the hardware clears? Thanks.

By the looks of it I'd have to say this new system is not compatible with Groundpounder or Munch mounts and I don't see any way it could be modified to work. Remember, the top mount quiver mounts are an aftermarket idea not Excalibur's idea so they may not be compatible with all Excal accessories. Personally my Groundpounder mount will be staying right where it is. I have no interest in cutting down on noise or vibration on my bow. I only posted this because I know a number of people here do.

Mill a flat on top and use a longer bolt. My 2 cents.....

I will be milling a small counterbore in the top of mint, when they become available, where the bolt comes thru the top.
This will accomodate the post(s) that holds the quiver bracket. May have to shorten the posts a bit so the Munch mount doesn't sit up to high. That way the ano finish will remain intact as well.

At 1st blush, to use w/ gpounder/munch quiver mount all one would need is proper length bolt, radius on bottom of mount posts and a nut and washer under riser. Verbal pic: use the Excal sts as a nut w/ quiver posts above and have left over bolt threads extending under riser where washer and nut will tighten the whole enchilada down.

Can't find a bolt the right length, use all-thread.

Edited to add: this forum is a 'tweakers' paradise, lol.

That looks great! Poor ol' ducks and bucks probably have their feathers in a ruffle! :D Summoning their make believe lawyers. :D
When it is made for production I know we have guys here that will make it work with any other accessory, including the quiver mount.
I doubt I will give up my (our) NGSS anytime soon, but for new guys this will offer a way to dampen strings and still have something that looks like it was made to fit.
The poor people who got sucked in to those crap STS from bucks and ducks can now let out a sigh of relief, the new guys can look forward to the benefits of function and fit.
