Guess Who Got A New Turd Brown Vixen Today?

Finally got my Turd Brown Vixen in that I won on ebay a few weeks ago. Looks like it's new old stock as the tags and stickers were still attached. She's just a plain Jane looking thing now, but I do have a few plans for her. Mainly, a FFF string, maybe an XB30 scope and a new paint job from Tarjac. I'm thinking of using these guys but I'm trying to decide which pattern to go with. I like the Bias Carbon Silver pattern myself, but the Skull patterns rock also.

Here's the new addition to my growing Excalibur collection.



Can't wait to get her out and shoot her. Hopefully everything I've been hearing about them are true

Nice looking Vixen. I'd go with a wood stock with deer skulls etched into the wood.

Althought the dead deer heads are a neat idea, the carbon silver would look better on the stock, imo

I agree. The deer skulls look neat. I've seen dipped skull kits that look neat. If you could combine the camo with skulls, you'd really have a cool pattern

I have one of those skulls from Mountain Mikes. I don't like it as well as I thought I would. It's a very glossy and shiny finish. It would look much better if it had a flat finish like the pictures!!

@ everyone else,

I made a mistake and asked the Wife which pattern she liked. I showed her the skulls and she quickly stated that they were "creepy" "Keep it away from me if you have that finish put on it".

I'm not so sure that's a bad idea when I stop and think about it!!

I do like the 2nd Power Brown. The one that looks like Brown digital Military Camo. But then again, Aging sez he can make a beautiful wooden stock for it...hmmmm, decision, decisions!

Dan Miller calls it "deer hide brown" Thats my prefered color for my limbs..I love it..nice xbow
