I personally like the traditional stocks better but that's just me you may find the Thumb hole is more comfortable

It is just that! there is no wrong choice with the excaliburs. Its what fits you best and to do that you must go and shoulder a few models. At the same time you an get a feel for the traditional and t-hole stocks.

I have a Phoenix (standard) and a Vortex (thumbhole), like em both...no wrong choice here.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.

I feel like I have better control with the thumbhole stock...but if it's an excal you can't go wrong!!!
