Does anyone have any hunting related toys on their Christmas list?

I have lots I want but the only hunting gift this year is for my kids.
I bought vixenmasters old Phoenix and Boo lent me some lite limbs to put on it until they can cock the reg limbs on there own.It looks really cool with the black stock and limbs.I think they are going to love it.
I would love to have gotten them each one but with 3 kids it was not in the cards to outfit each with there own bow.
This way they can take turns going to 3D meets with Dad.

I am not going to wrap it but put all the letters of (Excalibur Phoenix) in an envelope and make them figure out what the gift is by arranging the letters to come up with the name. :D :D

I learned long ago to not ask anyone for any hunting or fishing related gear for Christmas!

But do they listen...NOOOOOOO

Why? Because most people I know are none hunters or fair weather hunters at best. And then I end up getting crap I can't use or don't want...like Billy Bass or Charlie Catfish...or inexpensive knives made in China...or Dollar Store bream hooks that I'll never use...or a box of 410 shells (and I don't have a 410!)...or camo clothes that don't fit or are crap....

No...if anything I tell my Wife and Daughter what to get me if they must get me something outdoor related. I tell them exactly what to get, but tell them I'd much prefer to get my own gear...I tell them I'd much prefer they get me a sweater, a tie or some other nice Christmas gift

I have enough $2 fanny packs and glaring Blaze Orange hats with silly logo's or patches on them!

Seriously, I don't want to sound ungrateful, it's just that I take my gear serious and what I consider good gear is usually much different than what others think...or are willing to pay!

If they must get me something outdoorsy, just get me a Cabelas, BPS or Academy gift card. I try and tell them I'd rather get them something they really want. I already have most stuff I need :D
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

We don't exchange gifts except for the kids, but I'm putting a HS safety vest on my mother's day list. :)

Well I know that I've been a really good boy this year so there's a lot on my list.
Actually the list is long even when I've been bad!!

Bushnell Range Finder - Chuck Adams version
Moultrie Trail Cam - two would be nice
Ameristep Bruiser Tree Stand
Electric Meat Grinder
Bradley Digital Smoker
Jerky Canon
Vacum Sealer & Bags
Outdoor Edge Flip n Zip Knife
Martin Jaguar Recurve Bow

Heck there's probably a couple things I left out but that's most of it.

Now that I take a look at that list I don't think I've been quite that good this year!!
Do you think it's too late to change my ways??

You're lucky!
I've got 4 missing.
(actually have a partial plate, but I never wear it  )

As for hunting gear, I just ask for things like clothing that I can use for hunting. (not hung up on camo, dark gray, brown, or green suits me fine)

Bought myself a new FoxPro Caller. Does it count if you buy it yourself? Not good with surprises so I think I will give it to myself early when it arrives. :) :)

Hey Piper, my new ground blind I ordered. See if I can modify it for winter also. Ajustable and easy to carry and setup anywhere.

At nearly 70, (this week) I've accumulated nearly everything in triplicate. I have no more needs and very few wants. Do want to wish all of the folks on this great site the very best this holiday season and the hope that they and theirs are safe and together. Best, no - very best, wishes to all.

I'm with OkXbowHunter on this one... A Cabela's :D or Dick's :D gift card works best for me.
