do limbs travel past zero point after shot?

Post by bullfood »

I have limited space in one of my box stands and I don't want my limbs to hit the edge of the window frame when I shoot. Any one know how far the limbs travel past the zero point of their position when strung but not loaded?

Only one thing to do . . .test it. Go out there and give it a few practice shots. If it's that close, then I'd be too uncomfortable to hunt. Depending on how the deer came out, you get to leaning or turning . . .you could easily hit something unless you practice in there and know your limitations.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.
