Keeping my promise !!

I made a promise to myself to only hunt with my xbow this year,and man I could kick my self right now!!
I had the biggest buck I've ever seen in front of me and all I could do was cry!!!
I was in my stand this morning when this monster came across the pine hill about 7:15 chasing a doe.
Well after about 5 min. of this show I could'nt stand it anymore so I hit him with my grunt call...stopped him dead in his tracks broadside,ranged him...127yds...I could just cry!!!
Normally this time of year I have a 300 win. Mag., but I'm not going to beat myself up over it...I feel blessed that the almighty allowed me to share this moment with such a beautiful buck (at least 160) and I will keep my promise...no gun's...BOW ONLY !!!

Proud of you for doing that!...hes still out there and in your area. Great to see this time of year. Good luck with him with your x bow!...he will be that much more rewarding when he passes just about 20 yds from you!

You know he is their go get him and turn that regret into a sweet reward with a close encounter kill. Maybe try a doe decoy if you have one the second rut should be kicking in.
