Coyote hunt anyone?

Post by MADMAX2 »

I thought I would put it out there to see if there is any interest in putting a day of coyote's with some of the local forum members any interest?

The warm weather was looking like it was going to slow the activity, but the cold snap should get things back in to shape!
I am in, I have a few here that I have left alone for long enough. There is a 500+ acre parcel beside my house on the Nith river that could support a few hunters, a few stands and perhaps even a drive if things get quiet.
If it doesn't produce then there is another parcel less than 1k away that can be called on as well.
I would be happy to host a hunt, I have access to a few properties walking distance from my house, a small bow range at home as well as a rifle range if things get boring. :D
Coyotes are not starving right now, but I think they are feeling the pressure of a winter that is yet to come.

I would also be interested in this excellent offer.

I still have a lot to learn about yote hunting and since I learned about deer hunting here I can't be more thankful for this opportunity.
If the thrill of the hunt is lost, then I have lost.

It looks like we will do something with Pyd for our first hunt. Not sure how many hunters yet,but because of the response we will restrict it to existing members only.
I also have a couple of farms that I need to get coyotes thinned out that could be another hunt for another day.
If any other forum members have a local farm or hunting location to thin out yotes pm me and we can try to set up a hunt looks like we have enough interest here to do some yote control!!
