they beat us last year for gold but not twice in a row

they interviewed the usa players before the game and they hoped to score early to get the home fans out of the game ....did anyone tell them they were playing in buffalo ny, ended up that 80 pecent of the fans there were canadians

A furious comeback was all for naught as John Carlson scored the overtime winner to give Team USA a 6-5 victory in the gold medal game at the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship over Canada. you talking about this game

Great game! The young guys were on a mission. They sure were a different team than the one that showed up for Sunday's game against the Swed's. The
Canadain goalie was fantastic and the back checking was superb.

As the Canadian fans chanted late in the third period" bring on the Russians", we can only hope Wednesday will be as good.

Canada has been to the gold medal game for 10 straight years including this year.

How about the US ?

All kidding aside, in this tournament anything can happen. Just look at the Russians, who would have figured they would be in the gold medal game. They lost to Canada and Sweaden.

Yep, the Russians came on STRONG in the third and we where on our heels trying to figure out what to do.
