Has anybody seen these yet. Never seen one before. Not as nice as my vortex...

Looks great to plant phone or power poles in the ground.

Stirrup is one of the ugliest ever.

The name is funny. Maybe it's named after the sound of the string hitting the limbs when this horrible crossbow breaks ?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :D
I doubt Boo would have bought one if it wasn't a decent bow.

With all due respect, I agree but........
hmmmm, or maybe a string deal? Get one and then you know the size of string to sell. Do I win? Can I yell "BINGO"??? Strickly bussiness I am sure.
They look cool. Kinda like a AR

Can't help but looking back a couple years ago. I was welcome at all motorcycle club parties. Always rode in by myself and Wendy. Then I had a friend join a club so I hung around that club and drove to parties with them. All the other clubs never treated me the same and most asked why I was joining them and not us. Well I wanted to belong to no club. Just wanted to be friends with all. Don't know why I though of that. :) :)

Pyd's right, Boo wouldnt buy one if he thought they were junk, nor would he want to be associated with it. From what I gather Don has only had the bow for a short while and I think his reveiws are truthful so if theres something he doesnt like he will let others know. Hes also good at pointing out the good qualities. So far it sounds like its decent.....

I ran this by Bill before posting so here goes.
I think it’s important to note that this company does not trash talk other bow companies nor has it stolen any proprietary or intellectual property from any other bow company. In fact the CEO has said rather nice things about Excalibur. To quote the CEO of Kodabow who is gentleman and a past Naval Officer “Nothing against Excalibur ....... we are just different ...... but hope to have the type of success they have enjoyed as a company one day. Very admirable story they have put together....seem like nice people.”
These bows are very well made, solidly built bows that in my eyes will not dethrone Excalibur if there has to be a best bow. If there is a second place they would be, in my eyes, the bow/company that takes that position. They do not pretend to be the best bow they are just a good company that is trying to put out a quality, accurate and dependable bow. At no moment have they tried to say that they are better than anyone, just different.
I was talking to a string buyer from Louisiana this morning and he was asking me about Kodabows. He asked me to compare the Kodabow to the Excalibur and the best I way I could describe the bow or compare it two is buy saying that the Kodabow is like a sniper rifle and the Excalibur was like a 20 gauge Citori. When you pick up an Excalibur it is an extension of your body. So the two bows are great bows but different. The Kodabow is a fine and precise tool rather than an extension of your body.
I am sure many of you do not wear the same shoe/shirt/jacket every day or drink the same fluids or eat the same thing every day. The Excalibur is not for everyone nor is the Kodabow. I think the Kodabow has the potential to become a very popular bow but obviously a niche bow because of the styling and price.
