RACK REPORT - back to the bone yard Feb2

Post by Mr. Dynamite »

.

Antlers are still holding on tight! It is Feb now, how much longer can they last?

Had some time to stop by the cemetery again on Wednesday. While we did not see any groundhogs on their special day, we did see tons of deer.

There were 2 bucks this time. The 8 point from last time, and a smaller 8 point which I had not seen before. Those 2 bucks, and tons of does.

Pictures are much worse this time as the deer were farther away. I tried to crop them in so you can see them.

This is the bigger 8 who I introduced last time.

This picture below is the new, smaller 8 I had not seen last time

Back to the bigger 8
He was whipping his head around, and the picture caught him doing it. I was hoping I would see an antler go flying off, but no such luck.

Sorry for the bad quality pics - they get pretty fuzzy there.

I will stop by again this weekend and will keep you posted if any antlers start dropping.
Want to buy a K98 Mauser 8mm. If you have an old one sitting around someone brought back from the war please message me!

The healthier the deer the longer they keep the head gear, pulled one off the first wk.Dec, dragging one out, and have seen them still on in March, that's here in my part of VA. Good luck on the shed hunting.

Im surprised how readable some of those headstones are still after a hundred plus years. And Ann marshall was a very healthy gal to live till 90 in 1910
