Who else has turkey calls lying around the house?
Anyone else finding themselves with a call in their mouth while driving around?
Is the family about to kick you out of the house for practicing?
I'm getting sooooo antsy - can hardly wait! <yelp> <yelp> <yelp>

I start to grow wattles as the snow recedes, practice my mouth diaphragm wherever I can, in the truck, scouting, wherever ....but in the house. Several years ago, I was practicing on the deck and a turkey responded from the neighboring woods.Set up behind the pole barn and called in a jake....but it wasn't season yet.

I don't have a mouth call but it doesn't take long for the wife and kids...and the dog to get tired of me practicing on my slate call!
Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

I practice without using a caller, just cuping my hads together and over my mouth and noise.
My two boys get in on the fun when we are out hiking. We do deer and moose calls also, my wife thinks we're all nuts.
If you can't be hunting, least you can be thinking about it!
