the factory stock didn't have enough comb drop to shoot good without some cheek wack, ya can see the diference from the two....
as my first stock project i went with a pre shaped stock not knowing the work i had waiting....but you can see in the following pic's i had to remove lots of wood to get the stock to fit the brass hardware....
had to trim down the butt plate a bit to lower the comb even lower....
the stock even with the nose cap now....

i made the metal work look greyish to show aged wear to it, hope all have enjoyed it's transformation as i did doing it
