Hello my friend
I got VERY sick for a long time but am doing MUCH better now and getting stronger everyday.
The fam is doing well.
Times got hard and I had to sell all my gear so I didn't feel like I had much to share.
I was only able to hunt a few days last season but managed to put a doe in the freezer of a needy family.
It's good to be back.
Boo talked me into it.

Just an observation. I have got alot and I mean alot of good info from everyone on this forum. I don't post alot because I feel everyone on here knows alot more than me. I check the site everyday for something new. I guess after a while we begin to feel comfortable with each other and say things that other members may take the wrong way or take offence to. That stuffs bound to happen. I still think this is a great site. I can probably keep up with the best of ya and nothing really sticks to my skin. I still like a glass of beer and a shot of hooch. Often to many and then I really start talking. I guess what I'm saying is first impressions to new people to the site might cause them to look for info else where. What some people see or percieve to see isn't really what this site is all about. With that said I'm going for a beer.

I'm glad to see you're on the mend. I haven't been around much either, the recession was a little tough on us and I had to sell most of my gear also. I thought of you last August when we made our annual blueberry picking trip to NC(your old stomping grounds). The picking was excellent, by the way, I picked two gallons saturday afternoon, and two gallons sunday afternoon. I feel the same way, in that I don't really have much to contribute anymore, but I check in from time to time to see how everyone is doing. Stay strong, Sax.
