Put the S5 on last week and made a noticable difference in the noise more like a low thump..

I had the other style on I bought on here and was too much for the tired brain too get adjusted right,
with the S5 I put it on and its right at the point I always keep my string at.

Hey folks,

When I added the cheekpiece to my Ibex I noticed an immediate improvement in my accuracy whilst shooting from a standing position. I think it's because it anchors to my face better when I shoot. Also, I added an S5 I bought at the Sportsman show this evening. I'm excited to try it out tomorrow.

Regards.

Is the cheek piece adjustable at all?

The cheek piece isn't really adjustable. On many of the newer bows there is a hole drilled and tapped in the top of the stock and there is a matching hole in the top of the cheek piece. You can snap it on without screwing it in, if that's the case, there is a little play back and forth.
