Bow cabinet for fundraiser.

Post by chris4570 »

I started this yesterday. It is to be donated for an upcoming fundraiser(will be available for silent auction).

Haven't decided yet how the inside is going to be layed out/designed. It is projects like this that I tend to enjoy most; I make and design on the fly.

The doors.

The latch that hopefully will keep the doors closed.

A side view to give an idea of depth/size. It is getting heavier every time I work on it.

Ecoaster will provide his Mathews for me to use to help work out the inside.

Great looking cabinet. Nice work indeed.
Will it be a paint finish when complated?

Thanks. Yes the cabinet will recieve a couple coats of flat black, with a silver faux finish to help "age" it. Makes me wish I had a compound bow.

I would love to make another one, although there would have to be some changes. I only make one-of-a-kind pieces.

Cool looking Cabinet buddy!

I have some time tomorrow and will give you a call to swing by and drop of my compound if you still need it for fitting.

You really need to put a stained glass panel on front!! That would top off the Medaeval look.
