In for a penny........

Post by awshucks »

So the saying goes. Ol 'Da Griz' and I have been winding each other up and down for a few years now. Started on HNI in '05 or '06, doesn't matter.

My latest shot was to bid a penny on his knife and hatchet set. Thought I had a good idea on how short his fuse is and what it would take to light 'er up one more time. Guess I was wrong!!

Look what came in the mail today:

Spewing I missed the auction. Very nice looking set . Looks similar to mine, well .... almost....... its just missing the cheap black plastic handles and the made in china sticker  . Do you want to swap sets :?: .... I'll throw in the made in china sticker and you can keep the roo splatter on the cheap chinese blade for free.

I'm glad that Awshucks is happy with the set. It's true , he offered one penny for it. I stated in the thread on Trading Post that I had a price in mind and I wasn't looking to make a ton of money on the set. Well, Awshucks was the only person who PM'd me an offer. I think he did it to pi$$ me off , but I fooled him  and sent him the set.
You sure you can skin griz, pilgrim??
