Range is ready for action

Snow is mostly gone, targets are repositioned at 10 yard increments 20 through 60 yards. Have only tried the long target with Phoenix so far 50 yard aim point elevated to top of target lands 1/3 way down. Raining today, the course will get a workout soon as it stops with all three bows. My turkey season opens the 18th.
BTW the long one is just for kicks and giggles, don't intend to shoot on game that far....but it's nice to know I could

Nice. I only have a 30 yard range in my yard. Have an 80 yard range at the hunt club ten minutes away

Makes em easy to move, get them off the ground and free-hanging absorbs some of the KE of impact.

Nice Range. Got to like that when you can set up a range in your back yard. Did you make those target bags yourself. I made some targets stuffed with plastic wrap and had them hanging on a wooden frame with wheels for myself before I got sick and have a range out to 60 yards also. And sometimes I was ranging out to 100 yards to 120 yards just to play with it. Just to make it clear I am not implying that I would shoot at animals at that distance, I shoot at around 25 yards to 35 yards at my hunting locations. I now shoot when I feel okay, usually at least twice a week. I found that the targets cannot stop my arrows properly anymore. The arrows are burying themselves about 2 inches below the surface now. I don't know if the Boo string made the difference or the bag stuffing needs to be topped up, it doesn't seem to be sunk down that much. I never shot hardly any arrows in them after I made them, so it is not because they are all shot out. I may need to open them up and try and stuff as more plastic in them as possible.

Made most of the targets, Third Hand Archery bags filled with old clothes Ray. The 60 yard bag is filled with plastic bags. When arrows started to sink too far I filled in with expansible foam insulation. Worked great.

Those Third Hand Archery bags are the best bags I've used so far. I don't know what they are made of but I find them really durable. How do you find them Boris?

The Third Hand bags are great, Don. Large, durable, Velcro closure and reinforced corners top and bottom for hanging the bag and tying down bottom.(I suspend mine from tripod made with saplings). They stay out all year and last at least 2 seasons. Have even slipped them over a Merrel target when it's cover went to h.
