After 5 years my laptop blew up. On my new one now and things look much brighter.

Mines 10 years old and getting real slow, what type did you go with, so many options out there now.

Just a Toshiba Satellite from the Source. $399 (reg. $559.) plus $99 for a 3 year warrenty. Tax and everything $569. Good enought for me, I don't play games. Just images and build websites, company fliers and bussiness cards, invoices and that sorta stuff. Satellite C650-034

Both of my home computers, a laptop and desk top are about 8-9 years old.
Picked up a new Dell laptop a couple months ago and it it so bright and fast.
Didn't know what I was missing till I got the new one!
I'm like you wheelie I only use it for browsing and fiddling around on, no gaming or anything like that.
