Pt. Colborne Shoot pics

Post by ninepointer »

Despite the water on the ground, there was no water falling from the sky and the temp was nice, making for a well-attended shoot. Here are some pics...

Here's my stirrup AFTER I cleaned it off!

We were all shooting Big John's arrows which certainly lived up to their reputation for toughness. This one however suffered a serious collision with a tree but still managed to land ever so gently on this branch. Well, at least most of it did!

Those are some great pics, thanks for sharing them.
Some pretty soupy looking muck you folks were trudging through.

Looks like a great shoot! Rubber boots are often required footwear for early season 3D and it looks like this was no exception. Wish we could have made it but this week-end has been booked wall to wall. Hope we can all hook up for a shoot sometime this season.

Looks like good fun was had! Great to see John out shooting too! Like TPM said, we have a frantically busy weekend booked. A bit crazy, but good. Looking forward to shooting 3D sometime soon.

Wheelie - thanks for the offer of a ride for the boyz, but we should be OK. I'll take the car, they can have "my" van. :D Not sure Ben will be up to shooting, but I'll bet he'd have fun trying! Thanks for thinking of us!

The Shoot was excellent Guys!!! 8) :)
I really enjoyed it. The pain started in pretty good around target 15 though.
But as you know, I took care of it. And the back brace and knee brace help alot. The place was packed and very good for revenue for the club. Although the course was very muddy!!!! I didn't fall once. However I have to thank Queenbee for saving
me from falling a couple times. I really enjoy getting out and having fun with fellow archers and hunters.
Works better for pain and stress than any meds could ever do. I would gladly have used one of my Excaliburs
with you guys but the back pain would have been to much. At least with the Compound I dont have to bend over at all.
And I want to thank Dereck and Alfred, the new member coming, for pulling all the arrows out of all the targets for us.
Believe me this is no small feat! :!:
Excellent Time, Thank You!
