Emily and i called in two nice toms this morning . lots of goobleing all arond us . theses two came in slow after fling down about 80 yards from are decoys . Emily let fly with the 12g at about 25 yards and had a clean miss on the strutter .try again another day . it was a great morning to be out looks to be a bit wet the rest of the week DUTCH

Even with a clean miss, It's still a successful hunt

To get to do that with a family member is priceless!!

I had about the same luck. Seen two shooter birds two fields over but couldn't get them to come in.

Great to heat that Emily got a shot! How great is it that you two get to be out together! It's just a matter of time. We'll be looking for a photo with her turkey soon! :D

tell her shes in good company ..i missed one a couple weeks ago ..been shooting my cross bow every day and felt i was superman with the shotgun..didnt work as planned but it was a great day anyway ..and its even better to do it with a family memeber ,,is she your daughter?

I saw nothing but a racoon ! My nephew 2 fields over called in 3 cows at 5.30am ! ! It scared him @$%#less ! It seems the birds are not showing themselves in the fields for the last 3 weeks . The rain must be the problem ? ? Ray

Bummer, but if you think about how small a shotguns shot pattern {full ] is at that range. Its not too hard to do.{about the size of a quarter]
