Post by masboy »

No turkeys seen or heard or seen we don,t have too many where I hunt in md. So I been fishing when weather permits getting a few walleye but not many. Waters been high and dirty so went for flathead catfish Monday got six
One big one most about 8-10 lb one 43 inches 36 lb. Lots of fun to catch.

We don't have much like that around here. Looks like a monster bullhead. Are they tasty or when they get big like that not so much. Would'nt want him to gum my hand. :D

Nice looking catfish!
Water's been high & muddy here but I'll probably try to catch some channel cats this weekend. Went out Sunday, caught one small one (couple pounds), then the rain started again and I headed for home.
Not so much worried about getting wet, but the ground is so saturated the creeks flood very quickly now.
Took this pic last weekend, the water is normally about 20' below the bridge -
