Today's 3D shoot.

Post by TPM »

The weather held off fairly well for the Elmira shoot today. Had a good time shooting with N8trBoy. Also great to see Wheelie and his son out and Munch and his entourage. :D Munch, you're going to need a bigger van soon!
Mark and I did a bit of "shoot the other guy's arrow". :D

tim nice to see you wheelie mark and your familys.just in case you have never seen a victory dance here is a pic of delia doing hers and kristin getting a good laugh .also one of the wife and kids and i. also 1 of my sister with kristin and delia.had a great time but pooped out.thats too many arrows to pull out of targets .and i got lucky lots sailed off in the bush and i did not have to pull them out.i shot 272 on 37 targets with the compound and delia shot 277.think i will put her in the deer woods this fall.

Just arrived home. Had a gr8 day shooting 3D for the first time with my oldest son. We both had a ball. Gr8 to see everyone and I will decide on funds near the end of the week for next weekend. Nice to meet you for the first time Munch. Was in a hurry to leave, had 2 beagles home alone in the backyard and a long drive home.

Munch I think that the certain girl is probably totally exhausted from an really awesome and exciting day. :D She'll probably post something in the next day or so.

But... I'm going to jump the gun and post a photo or two in a new thread soon! :) Stay tuned! :D

Was a Great day. Sorry couldn't talk more to all.I thought I might be out next weekend but forgot our sons "buck and doe" is on saturday and need to help. Also son wants to hunt in morning, should go as there is less time now that he will be home before the wedding and should spend some quality time.

thanks Doe master that Breast Cancer shoot was awesome practice :D I hear your are moving to the " big" town. I know where you are moving to and if you need help just ask. My brother-in-law lives just around the corner :D

Notice--- No Nicked Nocks---- but it was close. Also Team Dryfire had no DryFire   priceless

Did start using the excuse book though once or twice

Being a beagler myself, my guess is that you were more worried about the neighbours than the beagles!

Thanks for the pics. I really enjoy shooting 3D, I just hate the "arrow tax"

"Arrow tax" - I love it! I mean, I hate it - it's pretty painful! I love the expression though! My "arrow tax" has left me without a set of 6 matching arrows so I need to get some done before I shoot again. Mother's Day is coming up though... ;)

I don't mind so much the ones the go careening-off yonder into the forest, obviously never to be found again. What drives me nuts are the ones that, "I know its rights here, but where is it?!!! :x ". Yesterday I was back looking for an arrow from last week's shoot. Didn't find it, but I did find 2 other arrows for the lost & found bucket.

Here's a tip: If you do like I did and go 3D shooting with an arrow maker, ignore his yardage advice!!!
