phoenix trigger problems
when i cock my bow it doesn't catch.i have to manually push the trigger mechanism ahead and then recock it .has anyone else had this problem? is it a lubricating solution eg. oil or is it a spring problem?don't want to touch it until i know what i'm dealing with.
Re: phoenix trigger problems
I am far from an expert when it comes to triggers so I would reccomend that you contact Excalibur, or Danny Miller if in the U.S., and have it looked at right away. Not something to mess around with from a safety point of view.
Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

"contact one of the two." Great advice, here's a tad more. Fill out your profile to at least tell which side of the border you are on. State or Province an added bonus for getting you good info on deals, warranty ect.
Common error, most of us needed a reminder too when we joined.
Gotta ask, you aren't putting safety 'on' prior to cocking, are you?

It could be something as simple as a pine needle or dirt inside . ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: phoenix trigger problems
Peter from excalibur got back to me right away with an email and suggested wd40 in the safety and trigger area.worked like a charm.i didn't want to do this without someone in the know's approval.all that rain this month while hunting was probably the reason.thanks to all for input. KITCH
