GaryL I will find out if the vari-zone Is the one to purchase. I just ordered one to put on my Exomag. I have been using the fiber optic site on the E-mag. I had a scope on the Horton that I sold, but didn't like the scope everytime I shot it I had to sight it in.
Based on what's being said that will be a thing of the past with the new Vari-Zone scope.

Duey, just follow the instructions on scope mounting from the Excalibur video and all should be fine.

Woodsman, I plan on following the instructions and I am going to watch the video tape on how to do it again. Thank you for the tip. I will let you know what happens.

crossbow sites

I've tried open sites - 5 crosshair scopes - regular scopes. The best on I have used is the halow 4 red dote scope. It is great for
3D and deer hunting. You are looking at the target with no mag. and no ajusting you head to find the target. Try one you won't go back. :P

My sight of choice is the Varizone. I bought a Bushnell Throphy range finder to help with sighting. Knowing the distance of the shot is critical with the Varizone.

My backup sight is a Horton 3 dot red dot.

Where did this thread come from?? I see my post states that I am using a fiber optic. That has changed. I use a varizone now.

Now that the thread is back up, I still use my original dropzone on my Exocet 165 and Tasco 2.5 x 32 that I bought on my Wolverine. Apparently, it was set-up by Excalibur that way. (so I was told)

I better post on this one because back in January of 2004 I probably still thought an Excalibur was a sword  .

I use the Maxzone on my Exocet 175. Love it.
