But got to come up with an extra 300 bucks to pay for it :(

gator is tasty, its worth the 300 killed a few when i lived down in st augustine , dont know what the hides are worth today , but should fetch close to what it cost to hunt them good luck!!!

Is there a size requirement on gators

Don't know how you would tell, but can you shoot
male or female

Also can you hunt them on your own or do you have to have a outfitter

Thats a lot of cake for a gator! to think I complain about the 40 per deer seal i have to pay!!

At least 5 foot i believe and you can tell by the distance between their eyes ie: 1 inch equals 1 foot. But you can do it on your own. You can use your crossbow with a big game bow fishing set up to get him in then finish him with a bang stick.

:shock: now that sounds like an adventure! :D so are you going to shoot it with a xbow? :shock: make sure you post pics! :D hope you get one. In the words of my son; that guy must have brass b*** to hunt one of them, he's a huge swamp ppl show fan. :lol: :lol:
