hello all im new to this forum, i work in a bowshop as bowyer I make custom bowstrings,and work on all brands off bows etc,, looking forward to talking to you all thanx

Thanks guys. As this state just started to allow crossbow hunting with a specal permit I have had a lot of people ask is the FOC as important on an xbow as it is on a reguler bow. sence this form is the place to be I wonted to ask the experts on this matter thanks..

im no expert but i will weigh in on the FOC.
there has been a lot of debate on here about it and most agree (me included)that yes its needed.
But i dont fuss over it like i used to..
just for fun start a new post asking about it,,

Welcome to the forum,
I'm no expert. But after a lot of experimenting with different length and weighted arrows, I definately noticed the difference. I don't have experience with mechanicals. But good FOC weight made a noticable difference to me when testing with fixed blade broadheads.
