show us your hunting kinfe

Post by gerald strine »

I broke down last year and bought some hand candy after looking at higher end knifes for many moons this suited me for deer hunting very nicely.

Hey Hoss that looks like a great do it all knife! very solid you could gut, chop small wood, defend your self or what ever and look cool all at the same time.
It looks like it should have a trigger I like it.

    , that there butter knife looks like it might even cut butter,   .

I cannot show my favourite knife. It has been damaged. I had a friend visiting and he took my knife and used it as a throwing knife without my permission and bent the very tip of the blade over itself in the shape of a mushroom. He hit my children's steel basketball hoop frame. Not very much but enough that the knife blade has to be fixed. And it was my knife set given to me by my Mum and Dad, a father and son knife set, when I started hunting. And they have both passed on and that knife set means a great deal to me. I had a few words with my friend and let him know to never do that to myself or anyone else again. I have asked DaGriz the best way to fix it and am waiting for his reply.

Hey Folks,
DaGriz tells me to grind it out but not to get it heated. I will fix it and I have forgave my friend right away but I did make certain that he knew I wasn't pleased. He did apologize and I told him I was sorry for getting hot and I believe he will never do something like that again to anyone. He should have known better, after all we are both in our mid forties. Water under the bridge now. I will post a pic when I fix it, hopefully I can do it tomorrow.
Thanks guys,
Raymond
