LimbSaver Insulator Strip

Post by Onetimeonly x--> »

Just trying to add a little protection to
the stirrup. Maybe a little less vibration?
Has not moved after at least 50 shots.

I used their wrap last year and wrapped the entire stirrup. Took a lot of that "twing" sound and dampened some vibration. The stuff is durable as anything because it's been on my Axiom for a full year now and it's still in good shape.
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

I added a Sims 1/2 strip to my arrow retainer for additional dampening.

Hey that looks really good!
Like it was made just for that purpose.
I'm gonna watch for it and give it a try.

.....hmmm, wonder if anyone has tried this on the outside of the limbs...wonder if it would work and for how long?

They might work, then again they may launch off the tips and beat the arrow to the deer. That would Def be a sight to see!!

Tried them on the inside of the limbs...no luck would not stay on limbs to porous. Surface needs to be slick for adhesion.

Maybe use outdoor type double face tape? It's made for different types of surfaces

Honestly the sound or vibration doesn't bother me. Still fascinated with how accurate these bows can be...love them. One just has to remember it's still a short range weapon, at least that's my take. Respect the animal, wait for the right shot and you'll be smiling. A good thump is what I like to hear!
