YAY! second year hunting, second year with a Doe tag. WMU 65, some pretty fierce competition there.

Bagged my first dear last year, this time, hopefully I'll have a chance to take a shot at a bigger one!

I don't know how ya'll do it. I live in NC and here depending on where you live get either 4 antlerless and 2 antlered or 2 antlerless 2 antlered and 2 either sex tags. THEN you can get unlimited bonus antlerless 2 for $10.

In fact i have heard rumors from wildlife agents that they are going to go to mandatory antlerless tagout before you can get a antlered tag, doubt it will happen though as that would require in person check rather than being able to check them on-line or by phone.

But I do know how it is to wait to see if you get drawn, I am currently waiting for a draw for permit hunting on a black bear sanctuary and it is driving me nuts. I just don't know how ya'll do it waiting for a draw every year.

Anyways best of luck to those who are in the draw. And best of luck to those who are drawn.

Up until a couple years ago the antlerless draw here in 64A wasn't really a "draw", as you were usually 100% successful year after year. As far back as I've been hunting here anyways. Probably the same thing in many other units I think.

Best of luck to everyone else.

Bow hunting is pretty much a guarantee in Southern Ontario. I have never missed getting an antlerless tag for bow season.

Got my antlerless tag as well. I have been trying to only use this option if I don't have a buck down by December.

I didn't get one in 56, but a few other guys in the camp did. I think we're about 75% (who rec'd antlerless tag) so far.
