Although it was the first time meeting Ken Cull for some reason it didn't feel that way at all. Ken is a true gentleman!

Great pictures . . .dry-fire . . .did someone dry-fire? Hard to believe all those folks would just stand there and say nothing while you pulled the trigger.

For Patti and I it was nice road trip from Windsor to be part of the fun on Saturday. I have met a few forum members in the past and today I would like to say hello to some recent members that I have met at Boofest such as Doe Master, Catcher, TPM, Comfy, Tom, Big John, Tom. Nice to meet you!

In no particular order I want to thank Don and Karin for their hard work and making it happen, Bill T for sending T shirts and swag for Kevin to distribute at Boofest. Also, some great food was prepared and shared. Karin's goose, boar stew was very tasty, Jim and Sheila make a fantastic ass kicking venison chili. He or she who got blacked chicken from Kevin were in for a real treat, thats for sure.

We both leave on a 6 day tent camping trip to Lake Superior Provincial Park tomorrow. I can get Boofest pictures up when we return.

It sounds like it was a great time. I wish I could have been there. It would be great to finally get a face with the names. Awesome setup with the different targets. You put on a good show Boo.

Dry fire sounds so harsh Don. :(

I would like to first say thank you to Boo ( Don ) he is a great host and most generous man. He truly is a great person. :) I have been to a couple of his functions and each time his hospitality is second to none .My wife still thinks it is a little weird that I go and meet my internet friends. But I promise her that Don was not after my organs. I told her that I would be home before the lighted nocks made an appearance. Everybody from the forum and guests were really excellent people and all were most generous. You could walk over to the line where we were all shooting from and you would have 2 or 3 people offering you to shoot their bow and were handing it to you before you could even respond. During the shooting competition everyone was offering each other bows to use. And since I did not bring my bow I took Big John's offer to use his crossbow. I liked his becasue it had a thumb hole and I always wanted to use one of those from Excalibur. John told me to hold the chevron on thirty and it would hit there. And boy it did , and I was fortunate to come away with a great prize. Don and others made stews and chillies for everyone to eat and I must say Don can cook too. He made a wild turkey , wild boar and wild goose stew that was excellent. After that we sat around the camp fire a exchanged some huntin story's and good times. Myself and Unclefester talked some deer talk but is all strictly confidential. 8) All in all it was a great time and I am very honored to have you all as my " Internet friends " as my wife would say. Good times and great memories until the next time.

Gerry . . .my wife calls them "my internet buddies" . . .with a little higher pitched voice at "bu" and throws a "t" or two in there and has a bit of a studder at that point. Jealous . . .pure and simple.

I gather you didn't have to save anyone this trip. :)

Who's going to get the bigger buck this year? You or Ken?
