That sounds fair enough. There are some people who buy stuff, and never pay for it; or pay a small percentage and then don't pay the balance.
I've been burnt more than a couple times so I very seldom send a knife until I have full payment. If I know a person real well I will send off the knife after getting a deposit and if I finish it before they pay in full. I usually won't even start on a knife until I get at least a deposit.
