I would shoot the great great grandson of either one, so you're hearing from a real brown-and-downer here, but...

It didn't take me half a second to say SECOND.

Both are fantastic deer, but the 2nd one is far and away a better deer and probably 1 year older.

Which ever one presents a shot first.
If they both showed at the same time, I'd shoot the 2nd one, looks like heavier 1/4s.

I would shoot both if they walk out on my food plot. Fortunately we're allowed 2 deer a day every day until mid January. If I had to choose one it would be the one that walked into bow range first. Nice bucks!

wabi wrote:Every year I watch the pics of the bucks coming to the feeder and pick one to harvest. This year there isn't much in the way of big racks showing up, but the two 8 pointers are regular visitors with even occasional daytime appearances.
Now I've got to make a decision of which one to target this year. :?

(I never actually hold out for the ones I pick, I simply shoot the first buck that presents a good shot most years, but it's fun to fantasize. )
