Lumizone.....WTH?
Has anyone here had a problem with their Lumizone holding zero?
I was out today, had the bow hitting plastic bottle caps at 30, all was good.
I went in, grabbed some lunch, came back out and resumed shooting...now I'm shooting 8" high! Same arrows, same shooting technique, same distance....I think what the heck?!? So I move back to 20, still high. Re-zero, move back to 30, dead on. Lean the bow against the house, go pull the arrows, come back...8" high!!
I've checked the mount, rings, and screws. everything still tight.....it has to be the scope. Anybody ever have an issue?
10 days till the opener and now this

If you can't set a good example, at least serve as a horrible warning.

Purposely adjust the scope 20 clicks high and 20 clicks right and see if it follows. If it does, move it back to zero and go the opposite direction. Just to be sure it really is the scope.

Re: Lumizone.....WTH?!?
OK, so I put the Xbow in my bench vice, picked a spot on the wall and watched through the scope as I adusted the dials. with the elevation dial it is almost like something is hanging up inside....I can move it four-five clicks with nothing, then all of a sudden it will jump up all five at once. I can feel resistance building as I turn the dial, then it releases.
Also, a sharp tap on the scope cap makes the X hairs change elevation as well.
OK, so real quick: Anyone have a source for a decent crossbow scope that can get to Ontario in a big hurry?

Scope is wasted. Excalibur for warranty, or SWFA for a replacement optic.
Re: Lumizone.....WTH?
Have had that problem with rifles numerous time and it usually turned out to be the scope and/or mount. I quit buying cheap scopes and mounts and quit having the problem, mostly that is.

Had a similar problem a few weeks back along with slight foging up.Took it back to factory.Had to pay $100 but upgraded to DLX twilight.Seems like a much improved product in low light.

I'd bet it's your erector tube, common problem on inexpensive scopes. If so, it's toast.IAMCANADIAN wrote:Has anyone here had a problem with their Lumizone holding zero?
