Post by pwweave94 »

My archery shop gave me a Carbon express lighted knock to try. Onlly lasted bout 10 shots. They make good bolts but not to impressed with their illuminated knocks. What is everyone else using?

Burnt coyote lumi nock are working great for me They make a fire bolt specific one that I have been practicing with for several weeks now probably 150 shots on 3 bolts and no malfunctions at all.

After I get my regular practicing work out in I have been shooting the same GT Laser II with a Lumenok 4-5 times a session. So far it has lit every time and shoots to the same point of impact as the rest of my arrows at 25 yards. I'll be hunting with a Lumenok this year for sure.

I installed Burt Coyote Lumenoks in my Firebolts. Easy to install and they work great! :)

The part # is excf3 for the Excalibur fire bolt nock by Burt coyote it adds around 20 grains over a aluminum rear nock .
My combo is a fire bolt with lumenok and a 175 grain slick trick works great Danny Miller has all of the above 740 483 2312

I bought and installed 6 lumenoks 3 years ago. Three are still working. Never had one fail to turn on. Three are not working because they were left on for at least 12 consecutive hours after going thru deer. Highly recommend the product. WIll never go back to unlighted nock. Knowing the point of impact immediately has been a good advantage for the last three years.

If you care enough to send the very best: Firenocks. Not dependent on electrical connections at top and inside of arrow, battery can be changed out, nocks (minus the lighting mechanism) can be changed out too. They work EVERY time.

Are the firenocks easier to install and maintain than the Lumenoks?
Thank you,
