VariZone fogged

Post by xbowking »

I have had this varizone scope for about 5-6 yrs & it has been very good ,then the other day i just got back from moose hunting and went to hang the bow back up & i noticed the scope is fogged on the inner lenz on the front and won't go away, wondering if i should send it in to Excal or is it just classed as old & should i scrap it ?

In the immortal words of Elvis, "Return to sender" :) Excal is good about standing by their products. The fact is, it should not be fogged regardless.

Send it back they will replace it, they were known to have fogging issues.

As much of an Excal fan that I am , there has to be alot of returns on their scopes. 2 or 3 people on here now having troubles my self included, 2 other varizones in my moose camp are fogging and one guy in camp has traded his third shadowzone in for the twilight all warranty. I love the bows but not sold on the scopes, Have to see how my new Hawke works out?
