Incredible buck! I too, missed the first posting of your trophy. Those brow tines are amazing! Congratulations! I can only hope to see a deer with G2's as long as those brow tines.

He's not really that big. I would have let him walk and get bigger next year or the year after...

YEAH RIGHT!!! THAT'S A HONKER OF A BUCK! I'd fallen out of my treestand if something like that walked by. Great shot and recover...sorry for the ribbin' above, it comes with the territory... :D
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Kind of looks photoshopped . . . just kidding!

Thanks Sumner... you know what's funny? When I downloaded the trail cam pic of this buck, several members on my Ohio Hunting website thought it was Photoshopped for real!

That's really a nice buck, but are you sure that you're the one who killed it? Image

Maybe I better start Googling.......... :?

   Just kidding man!!! Super nice buck! Getting a big deer like that is cool, but it means so much more to have gotten it with a crossbow (or it does to me anyway). :D Congrats!!!

Funny story... one of the ushers at chruch asked me to take the 10:45 service for a bit instead of the 8:30. Who was I to say no, knowing that I could do a little hunting on Sunday mornings!! HA HA Anyways, shot the buck at 8, got the kids around and drug him up to the house about by 9:30. Showered and was passing out bulletins to church members by 10:15 for the 10:45 service. Embarrassed to tell you I can't remember what the sermon was that day... I was sitting in the back of the church in my own little world, thanking the Lord in my own way!

My wife knows it's a 50-50 shot when I say I'm going to go sit for a little while before church. :)

Ninepointer, not sure about the skills, but I do know you are right about the right equipment. This is my first Excal and I just can't believe how powerful and accurate they are. I shot instintive bow for a long time and was always pretty good. I had to be very selective on my shots, etc., but there was always that little bit of doubt. Now, it's a different story... not sure if you like the Excalibur show "Deer City USA", but there is a guy on there Uncle Miltie I think they call him... his catch phrase it "Excalibur... pull the trigger and the party's over" I tend to agree with that statement. This board has been so good in helping everyone fine tune their bows and equipment without having to go thru the trial and error on their own. We owe it to the animals we harvest. Thanks everyone. Good luck to you all the rest of your hunting season wherever you are! :D

Wow, wow and more wow!

I'm really not a big "score" type of a hunter, but I'd really like to know how this guy tapes out.

Way to put that squinty-eyed beast on the ground. Awesome!
