Leopold rangefinder?

Post by WalknTall »

Has anyone on here use this one or know someone who does? Thoughts?

Can it be used on a crossbow? I don't see why not.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It would help if I added the link! Duh!

I actually have the mount but I was just wondering about this one with the corded remote and the LED read out on the back of the unit.

A friend of mine uses that on his Excalibur . He has the wire for switch run thru the stock so he can activate it with his trigger finger . He is gone hunt at this time will try to get a picture when he returns

I bought the Excal rail and I was not satisfied at all by the handling of the RF. I have a classic Leupold RF, a RX 1000.

I tend to think it's more efficient to have the RF around you neck or in your pocket, and using it when it's needed, rather than adding weight and discomfort on an already bulky crossbow. It's not easy to pop your eye so close on this tiny little sight, distance between eye and lens is much shorter than on a decent scope !

Quicker and better, but you have to be stealth and calm when using it this way ----> don't put the RF in the same pocket as your spare change, candy wrapping or whatever noisy thingy :D

I still use the rail, as a stand for my video camera.

Too funny! Murphys law?

Thanks Farmer. Let me know how he likes it. I was thinking of doing the same thing as your friend did.
