Friend in need

Post by onebigskittle »

Thursday i got a phone call from a young friend of mine telling me he was going down the road and heard a cracking noise and then POP! his Parker crossbow limbs just broke,He was cocked and loaded..Good thing he didnt get hurt,He was telling me his season was over and he didnt know what to do so i told him to call them and let them know...bottom line his crossbow will be fixed Free and after i got home from a Doctors visit out of town yesterday i lent him one of my crossbows till his gets his fixed ..you should have seen the smile on his face because he lives ,breaths hunting everyday.
I told him awhile back i was going to convert him over to Excalibur and now is my chance

I just got a phone call from my friend thanking me for the use of the crossbow because with out it he would have had to sit at home today and not hunted ...he was excited because he killed a bear with it and will be over to show it to me in a little while ...i hope to get a picture or two with him and his bear and will try to post it

Sounds like Excalibur may be selling another crossbow soon.

Never had a crossbow limb break, but I had a PSE compound bow limb fail time. I drew the bow and it sounded so much like a fabric seam ripping I actually checked my pants crotch.
Next shot same sound, then I noticed a row of "splinters" sticking out across the top limb.
Fortunately it wasn't a full break!
