Wow! Congrats on a nice buck! And thanks for sharing your story with us!!!
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Way to go on a nice buck!
*PRETTY IN PINK, DEADLY IN CAMO!

*In the fall I get to kill em in the rut, but in the spring I get to watch em strut.
*You can take the girl outta woods, but you can't take the addiction outta the girl!
*Can't kill anything sitting on the couch.

Thanks. Those antlers are going to look pretty for a long time up on my wall :D

I used Spitfire Xp's, 2nd deer taken with them and they worked great. Not alot of blood on the ground but fortunately I saw both of them fall so tracking wasn't an issue. In the future I might experiment with using fixed blades, if I can get them to fly true. In the past with vertical bows I always used thunderhead fixed blades and had good luck with them. Probably try Slicktricks first with my Exomax because they seem to be the best rated on here for accuracy and dependablility.
