we got a bull this year of the 9 guys in the group no one shots anything but excalibur crossbow the bull was shot at 20 yards and only went 40 yards luckily it didnt cross the river but fell right next to it I was luckily enught to hear the whole thing from him grunting to walking though the small creek that run thought the property and even the shot this was only my thrid time moose hunting and my first time hearing a bull grunt it was awsome experience and a great hunt

Nice Moose sounds like a good hunt you are going to need a bigger 4 wheeler though :lol:

Congrats on the hunt and a nice bull. What area were you in? We seen nothing in 18A.

Nice bull. We saw two bulls this archery season but both were cowed up. It's nice to see someone taking one with the excalibur. I haven't had the chance to pull the trigger (all moose over 80 yards). Congratulations

we where hunting close to timmins the groups seen lots off bulls and heard a few cows the one group member seen a cow and a small spike bull when he was out bird hunting the one afternoon and they followed him on the wheeler for about ten mins was an awsome hunt in all we also ended up with 2 black bears
