Noticed that plastic was stick-out in channel at exit end. Can I just trim this off or do I need to loosen everything and readjust plastic back into place? Plastic is hitting vanes can see where it has been rubbed by vanes.

Just carefully trim it back with a sharp, semi-sterile blade. That'll fix it right up.

what sipsey said! by all means just trip it off. It may be affecting arrow flight.
