Stand off

I apologize for the frivolous post but I wanted to practice posting a picture. I think I got it figured out. :)

:D it was a suet feeder. Can't put anythink in it till the dead of winter. Seems like the coons leave it alone then. Looks like you have a nice crop. Wonder what fur prices are this year :D

Don't know what the prices will be, but I'm planning on finding out.
With the world economy what it is, it's anybody's guess. They can be $20. today and worthless tomorrow.

Have some new DP (dog proof) traps ordered and have the old traps and skinning equipment ready for use. Season opens Nov. 10 and I hope I have catch pictures by the 11th.

Guess where my first sets will be located.

BTW - I've put out 7 "suet cakes" in the past week (2 feeder in my yard).
Got a pic of a red bellied woodpecker this morning, but most of it has been eaten by starlings & sparrows. I read where starling feathers are useful for fly tying and I tie flies and have a good air rifle.

Nice woodpecker !

Useful animal, it covers the sound of the bow. You can even shoot with a SMG without being noticed when they're around :D
