I got to thinking about all of the different guns/weapsons I've used to get deer with (haven't had a chance at anything bigger than deer yet). Still got a few more calibers to add to the list before I kick the bucket though.

Bow:
Excal - everything else is in the past. Not just saying that because of present company.

Muzzle:
If I go during Muzzleload, I would take my Excal. But have the following:
TC Blackdiamond
Traditions 54 Cal

Shotgun:
All in one Browning pump. Screw in tubes. Killed turkeys to 52 yards, deer, doves, quail, hogs. One stop shopping.

Rifle:
BAR in .270 - hyper sensitive to ammo, but Bad A-- with Hornady 140 gr SST, long-range shooting - Remington 100 gr SP (knock the eye out of an armadillo at extended range).
Win Model 70 with 257 Roberts custom barrel (Dad never cleaned it) - gun killed 17 deer in a row after custom barrel without a miss or loss. Then lost 2 in row. Not gun's fault though.

No season. LOL totaled the mustang. Guess they are getting me back for killing their buddies. I've hit 7 deer with a automobile in 24 years, killed 4 of them.
