Our Wisconsin gun deer season opened Saturday, and ended for me, 45 minutes later. I saw 5 deer total in that 45 minutes. At 715 a doe stepped out followed by this buck. I must have missed the first shot, he stepped behind a tree, I waited till he started to walk, fired the second shot. He ran, I waited 10 minutes then started to follow the blood trail. After 125 yards, I caught up with him, Dead.
My neighbour helped me his guess was 175 pound and antler score of 110. This is the biggest buck I ever shot, both weight and antlers.
This is a 9 point. 15 1/2 spread 8 inch G2. Two bucks this year, I am a happy hunter!
