"Elliot" is home. :)

Post by VixChix »

I decided to have a euro mount done with "Elliot" because after 10 yrs I felt I should do something to commemorate what I hope is the END of a long dry spell.

We were headed out of town for a week of rifle hunting right after the week I got "Elliot" and I wasn't sure I wanted to leave the skull to deal with later - (even less sure I wanted to do it myself.) So I found a taxidermist in the Cambridge area who did a great job for a reasonable price:

I'm very pleased with how it turned out. We joked about how it's a "space saving" design and perfect for a corner:

What you'd see if you walked in our front door... I love the shadows cast on the ceiling! :D

The dog's name from the Grinch movie is "Max". We had a big family discussion about it last Xmas and had to look it up.
