O / T This mornings goose hunt.

Post by catcher »

Well even though it was pouring rain this morning , I had a field loaded with geese that was just calling our names. We had a great shoot and limited out with 15 by 9:00 am. Hope to do it all again on the weekend. I am waiting for December 1 to shave that squirel of my face ( for Movember ). The geese worked well today even though they have been hunted hard in the area we were in.

Nice haul!

I don't know if you're getting the same amount of rain as we are here in the London area but I've got a few new ponds in my fields that never existed before! :)

Good for you for taking part in "Movember". I'm doing it too with a group of guys from work.

Good hunting!!!!

As for Movember... I think most women would agree with me that they guys could probably raise more money by shaving them off than for growing 'em! :D

Nice haul of geese there. Good luck this weekend. :)

Now see, that's where you're wrong. Some of us guys have to have facial hair to help cover up the ugly. Believe me, you don't want to see me without any type of facial hair.

Catcher, you guys up there have got it made! Our limit down here on those things is only 2 per person per day. :x You get a big wad of them big B-52 S.O.B.'s coming in on top of a pit blind and you show them exactly what "Death From Below" means, you may be done for the day down here.

Sounds like ya'll had a heck of a morning! Congrats!!!!! The first time I went goose hunting in a pit blind, we had wad after wad of migrant geese coming through due to an ice storm. The first wad to come in, it looked like a bunch of B-52 bombers trying to land on top of my head and I about started hyperventilating!

Seriously, some guys look great with beards, goatees, whatever... others, not so much. Those big MoVember "spam 'stashes" though - ugh. Good riddance
