Just wanted to share with you folks my favorite hand warmers. They can be recharged by boiling in water or microwave and do not put out any odors. Boiling them to recharge is a little kinder to them than microwaving.
On really cold days I like to recharge them before going out to the field, that way they stay warm from being reboiled and then you can click them to activate them and you can get double the heat time out of them. The rectangular green ones will usually keep putting out heat for around an hour or so after you activate them.
The company is out of Indiana and it looks like they will ship north of the border.

"click them" is how you get to start heating, they have a small metal disc inside that you flex or "click" to start them heating. They have a couple of videos on their website that show how to use them.
Here is a video clip from the manufacturer.

Oh ok, I get it now. 1st you boil them and get the heat from that, and once it wears off then you click them to activate the warmer. This will come in handy for ice fishing.

Re: Reusable Hand Warmers
I have one given to me as a promotion.
They work but last only up to 15-30 min. You will need many of them in the field for a full days hunt.
The disposable ones last a few hours each and are more practical.
