Christened my Ibex with a buck

Post by ottawacats »

Yesturday a buddy and I were to spend the morning sitting in our stands waiting for one of the three bucks we had been seeing on our trail camera's. Well the morning didnt last long as we were out of the bush by 8:30. My buddy watch him walk across a open field and in to some thick bush cover never giving him a clear shot, then after 20 mintues or so he walked into a clearing at my stand. So at about 8:15 I took my shot and down he went, my buddy walked me through the steps for cleaning and skinning as this was my first deer. All in all a good day and next week we will spend afew more hours in the bush trying to fill his tag. So enjoy the photos we did take.

Matt

the date is wrong on the trail camera photo is from last tuesday.

How sweet it is...your doing better than me in the xbow dept. My Ibex went to bed for the winter, missed a spike in Oct. (miss judged the distance) Oh, well, the muzzleloader an Rem 06 made up for that. One tag left for the late MZ season. 8)
